Eine motorsportliche Zeitreise in der Eifel
Vom 7. bis 9. August 2026 verwandelt sich der legendäre Nürburgring wieder in ein lebendiges Automobilmuseum der Extraklasse. Der 53. BELMOT Oldtimer-Grand-Prix (OGP) lädt zu einer der traditionsreichsten historischen Motorsport-Veranstaltungen Europas ein. Am zweiten Augustwochenende erwacht die Geschichte des Rennsports auf dem Grand-Prix-Kurs und der anspruchsvollen Nordschleife zu neuem Leben.
Le-Mans-Flair im Abendrennen und die „Goldene Ära“
Zuschauer dürfen sich auf ein hochkarätiges Programm freuen. Ein absolutes Highlight im Zeitplan ist das einstündige Abendrennen am Samstag. Wenn die zweisitzigen Sportwagen und GT-Klassiker der 1950er- bis 70er-Jahre in die Dämmerung hineinfahren, entfaltet sich echtes Le-Mans-Flair auf der Strecke. Ebenfalls im Fokus stehen die Läufe der „Tourenwagen Golden Ära“ sowie die Serien der Historic Championship (unter anderem mit den Klassen HC '65 und HC '81), welche packende Sprint- und Langstreckenrennen auf dem Grand-Prix-Kurs austragen.
Prominente Piloten hautnah erleben
Das Event glänzt traditionell durch die Rückkehr legendärer Motorsport-Größen. In den Rennen der Tourenwagen-Klassen greifen bekannte Stars und ehemalige Werksfahrer wieder selbst ins Lenkrad. Zu den angekündigten und aktiven Piloten der Szene gehören namhafte Größen wie Roland Asch, Kurt Thiim, Kris Nissen, Volker Strycek und Altfrid Heger. Wer die Rennsport-Ikonen persönlich treffen möchte, hat dazu bei den großen Autogrammstunden am Samstag und Sonntag direkt vor Ort die Gelegenheit.
Motorsport zum Anfassen und Auktionen
Neben der Fannähe im offenen Fahrerlager bietet der ring°boulevard in diesem Jahr ein besonderes Rahmenprogramm: Bei einer großen Live-Oldtimer-Versteigerung kommen am Samstag rund 100 historische Fahrzeuge unter den Hammer.
Hinweis für Besucher: Bis zum 30. Juni 2026 sind Eintrittskarten noch zu vergünstigten Frühbucher-Konditionen im offiziellen Ticketshop erhältlich. Für Familien besonders attraktiv: Jugendliche bis einschließlich 17 Jahre erhalten in Begleitung eines Erwachsenen freien Eintritt.

A Motorsport Journey Through Time in the Eifel
From August 7 to 9, 2026, the legendary Nürburgring will once again transform into a vibrant, world-class automotive museum. The 53rd BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix (OGP) invites fans to one of Europe's most traditional historic motorsport events. Over the second weekend of August, racing history will come alive on both the Grand Prix circuit and the demanding Nordschleife.
Le Mans Flair in the Evening Race and the "Golden Era"
Spectators can look forward to a top-tier line-up. A true highlight of the schedule is Saturday's one-hour evening race. As the two-seater sports cars and GT classics from the 1950s to the 1970s race into the dusk, a genuine Le Mans atmosphere unfolds on the track. Other major highlights include the races of the "Tourenwagen Golden Ära" (Golden Era Touring Cars) and the Historic Championship series (featuring classes like HC '65 and HC '81, among others), which will deliver thrilling sprint and endurance races on the Grand Prix circuit.
Experience Celebrity Drivers Up Close
The event traditionally shines with the return of legendary motorsport greats. Renowned stars and former factory drivers will get back behind the wheel in the touring car classes. Among the announced and active drivers of the scene are prominent names such as Roland Asch, Kurt Thiim, Kris Nissen, Volker Strycek, and Altfrid Heger. Fans wanting to meet these racing icons in person will have the opportunity during the major autograph sessions on Saturday and Sunday right on-site.
Hands-on Motorsport and Auctions
In addition to the fan-friendly open paddock, the ring°boulevard offers a special supporting program this year: on Saturday, around 100 historic vehicles will go under the hammer during a major live classic car auction.
Information for visitors: Early bird tickets are available at discounted rates in the official ticket shop until June 30, 2026. Especially attractive for families: youth up to and including 17 years of age receive free admission when accompanied by an adult.
